Job Description

As the Sustainability and Risk Management Head, you will spearhead the development and execution of comprehensive sustainability and risk management plans for our organization. You will lead sustainability initiatives, oversee the development of annual sustainability reports, chart a net-zero pathway, and establish decarbonization plans. Additionally, you will serve as the secretary to the Sustainability and Risk Management Committee, facilitating discussions and driving action on key initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sustainability and risk management plans in alignment with organizational goals and industry best practices.
  • Lead sustainability initiatives to drive positive environmental and social impact across operations.
  • Develop and publish annual sustainability reports, showcasing progress, achievements, and areas for improvement.
  • Establish a net-zero pathway and decarbonization plan to reduce carbon emissions and mitigate climate change impacts.
  • Serve as secretary to the Sustainability and Risk Management Committee, coordinating meetings, preparing agendas, and documenting minutes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate sustainability considerations into business operations and decision-making processes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Environmental Science, Business, or related fields. Master’s degree is preferred.
  • Minimum 15 years of working experience with 3 years in sustainability and risk management leading role within a corporate setting.
  • In-depth familiarity with ESG reporting standards, such as GRI, SASB, and TCFD.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate complex sustainability and risk concepts into actionable strategies.
  • Proven leadership abilities with a track record of driving change and influencing stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
